Have you ever ended a difficult day reminding yourself that “tomorrow is a new day?”

I know I have! Maybe you need a little extra professional help and support to work through whatever is making your life challenging. I believe in the value and results of caring, thoughtful and evidence-based treatment. Your issues and struggles are unique to you and you deserve a therapist who works with you to determine the best-individualized treatment to make your life more fulfilling.

I have had my share of bumps in the road, and I had to figure out ways to navigate a way over and sometimes around them. This is why I wanted to become a therapist. I wanted to be able to help others do the same. I graduated with a master’s degree in Social Work from Salisbury University. My previous work experience in a couple of the larger agencies in Salisbury provided me with valuable experience and helped me to develop my strengths as a therapist. I also realized I wanted to go into private practice so I could provide quality services where clients are more than a number.

I am committed to education and learning and have become a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, Certified Clinical Anxiety Professional and a Certified Associate Counselor for Alcohol and Drugs. I am currently completing my coursework to be an Equine Psychotherapist. My thirst for knowledge and desire to find new techniques will provide clients with evidence-based treatment and the ability to explore a variety of treatment options.

Often in therapy people are encouraged to get outside, enjoy some fresh air and nature. My agency is located on a farm because I feel it offers my clients a chance to take a breath and get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, allowing them to explore their feelings, think more clearly and heal. I am passionate about working with those looking for a better way of life.

If you would like to start A New Day with me please email kim@andrecoveryservices.com and we can schedule your complimentary 20 min phone to consultation to determine if I can meet your needs. I look forward to hearing from you.
